This release focuses on platform security and reliability.
🆕 New Features
Introducing Self Serve Firewall Manager on Vaults
Vaults now supports self-serve Firewall Manager for v2 wallet transactions. This helps users manage firewall configuration for their organisation directly from Vaults, resolving the earlier requirement of reaching out to the Liminal support team to configure the firewall.
Here are the supported capabilities:
-
You can configure the firewall transaction policies, including Transfers, Transaction Risk (AML) and Travel Rule policies.
-
Available on Vaults from Settings > Firewall.
-
Supported firewall configurations: You can add, update and delete operations for Send and Receive rules.
-
Firewall Policy Control: Owners and Compliance team members need to review and approve the Firewall policy. It is implemented and added to the firewall configuration once approved.

Edit Rules for Transaction Risk
Introducing Cross-Chain Stable Swap
Vaults now supports the Stable Swap feature enabling secure and institutional cross-chain stablecoin transactions via LiFi. This allows users to exchange stablecoins across the supported protocols with real-time route discovery, asset price quotes, risk screening and firewall approval. This helps institutions to balance liquidity among different chains.
The feature supports the following capabilities:
- Supported chains and tokens:
- Ethereum, Polygon, BNB and Base chains.
- USDC and USDT tokens.
- Security, route and policy measures:
- Supports destination address and smart-contract whitelisting.
- Token Allowance: Supports token allowance to validate the wallet, token, swap provider for the contract and token amount to enable swap. The allowance helps to keep the session active for the valid token.
- Real-time Routing: Supports fetching real-time quote for the configured swap including the bridge execution route, estimative output, gas fee and slippage percentage. The quote stays valid for 60 seconds.
- Complete swap transaction flow: Supports transaction: Initiation → Initiator Quorum → Firewall Quorum → Mobile Signing → Broadcast.
- Supports transaction history record and reporting: Vaults records the swap transaction in the transaction history, audit logs and transaction records.
Rent Resources with Tron Fee Optimiser
Vaults now supports renting energy for Tron transactions to manage Gas Station fees. The feature enables support for managing Tron transactions by renting energy and bandwidth, saving upto 30 percent on the transaction fees when consolidating Tron assets. The Tron sprayer will not be required to spray native coins to consolidate tokens from deposit addresses.
The feature has the following capabilities:
- It is supported for Tron deposit wallets only.
- Available on Vaults web from Settings > Tron Fee Optimiser.
- Enable/ Disable the rent resources strategy.
- Supports gas fee management for Tron via renting resources and Sprayer wallet.
- The paid feature supports a pricing of 4.5 TRX for every successful transaction. It provides usage reports including the total number of optimised transactions, the on-chain and average fee saved in USD, and the latest billing cost.

Tron Fee Optimiser feature
Testnet Support for Cosmos Interchain Security (ICS)
The Cosmos Interchain Security (ICS) is now supported for hot withdrawal and warm MPC v1 wallets on Vaults. This extends support for compatible staking and withdrawals of native Cosmos assets on Vaults.
Support for Distinct Cold and MPC Wallet Name
Vaults now support MPC and cold wallets with distinct names only. This enhancement ensures there are no duplicated names during a wallet creation for Vaults self-custody, managed-custody and whitelabel.
