Recover your BNB Beacon chain assets

Binance officially shut down the BNB Beacon Chain (BEP2) on 19 November 2024. This change is part of the "BNB Chain Fusion" plan, which combines the Beacon Chain’s functions into the BNB Smart Chain (BSC) to make the network faster, simpler, and more secure. From now on, BNB will only work on the BNB Smart Chain. The shutdown was carried out in phases, as illustrated in the following screenshot.

Important dates

• 19 November 2024 - Cross-chain connections between the Beacon Chain and BSC were turned off.
• Starting 3 December 2024 - Tools will be available to recover assets left on the Beacon Chain.
